The Tidewater House is a historic mansion built in the mid-1800s and is located in downtown Easton, Maryland. The bride and her party can rest the night before the wedding day in the five guest suites as well as enjoy time getting ready before the ceremony. The space can also play host to intimate weddings, rehearsal dinners, and private events. If opting for a larger wedding, a short walk away is the Tidewater Inn, where a luxury ceremony and reception can be held. The Tidewater Inn boasts a beautiful outdoor garden courtyard perfect for any ceremony and impressive ballroom for your reception. These elements will combine to make your wedding day an exceptional experience. The venue is a short distance from DC.

Reception Locations

There are three options for a reception location.

The Gold Ballroom

This reception area has high ceilings, large windows to allow natural light, tasteful chandeliers, a dance floor, and a vintage style bar. This area is often paired with an alluring sail cloth tent and courtyard, perfect for a cocktail hour.

The Crystal Room

This room gets its name from the crystal chandeliers that grace the room and provide a touch of elegance. This area is newly renovated and also offers large windows that bathe the space with natural light.

The Carriage House

This space is located on the grounds of the Tidewater House and is the newest venue. This area is perfect for couples opting for an intimate wedding and hosts a max of 75 guests.
